Canterbury Breastcare is pleased to be able to provide consultations with radiation oncologists who have a wealth of knowledge and expertise. They work together with our surgical team to ensure that women receive a complete care-plan for the management of their breast cancer. Women will be offered a consultation before surgery ensuring they have a multidisciplinary approach to their treatment. Once the final pathology results are available then a second consultation will provide a discussion of treatment options that are available and their care-plan will be agreed upon. The treatment options could include chemotherapy, radiotherapy and hormone therapy, all which can be provided through St George's Cancer Care Centre.
