Breast nurse specialists work closely with all our consultants to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

The breast nurse specialist also ensures that surgery is organised efficiently and in an appropriate timeframe.
The breast nurse specialists possess enhanced communication skills, providing patient education to assist patients and their whanau in understanding treatment options, expected outcomes and ongoing care following surgery. Our breast nurse specialists also ensure patients are provided with physical and psychological support throughout their treatments.
